Most of us over a certain age know we should be taking care of our body and mind to live life to the full. However, it’s hard to commit to taking the first steps to health. We are all good at making excuses.
Getting started was a difficult personal sell. First steps were scary. I had not appreciated that this pathway to feeling healthy would be a serious personal commitment.
Duncan is a navigator. Laughing together has made the experience light hearted. Learning to walk properly wiggling like a top model has been a bit of an eye opener, not to mention a source of coded fun. Boxing has become a wonderful way of releasing stress combined with the sheer delight of sparring, and hitting your trainer!
Duncan has a sensitive, holistic approach to getting fit. He listens, and adapts his training to individual needs. Mind and body become interconnected. Reinventing myself is personally satisfying, but not necessarily easy. I look forward to our time in the gym! Even signed up for more classes. Its a joy not a chore.
